The Long Awaited StarCraft 2 Overview

It's nearly impossible to find a real-time strategy game that features both an outstanding multiplayer experience, as well as a quality campaign mode. But StarCraft II does just that, lapping its predecessor with astonishing graphics, features, and much more, while still keeping it's general Science-Fiction effect. https://michaelledford.blogspot.com/2019/01/the-long-awaited-starcraft-2-overview.html

The game spotlights on three different species: The Terrans, humans banned from earth, the Protoss, who use Psionic power, such as telekinesis, to overcome ordeals, and the Zerg, a race of genetically modified insectoids.

StarCraft II's campaign opens following the story of Terrans Jim Raynor, the protagonist, and Tychus Findlay. There are twenty-nine missions in campaign mode, which Raynor commands, choosing his fate.

There are seven different chapters in the campaign, Mar Sara, Colonist, Artifact, Covert, Rebellion, Prophecy, and Final. Mar Sara consists of three missions, while the rest have four to five missions. You're sure to be kept focuses and excited with this hybrid of fun and strategy.

The characters are in depth, and more of a story, or sub-plot unravels as you progress through the game. There are over three hundred fifty achievements in the game, most of which can be obtained through the campaign. https://michaelledford.blogspot.com/2019/01/give-your-brain-rest-it-needs-then.html

The game itself focuses on the multiplayer experience, trying to keep it as original as it's forerunner, but upgraded, modern. You may play as one of the three races in multiplayer, attempting to over come your opponent(s) with wit, skill, and strategy. There is also a "build your own map" mode where players are allowed to set terrain, time, resources etc... and play them. The multiplayer aspect itself is a major improvement, and will have many expansions in the near future.

One of the most exciting features is the reinvented  (still free, of course), used to record achievements, progress and much more, online.  offers players credits, and for quick battles, without having to search for just the right map.

Instead of being in a mach with superior players, to the ones just starting out, it matches you with players within your difficulty allowing a fair match. https://michaelledford.blogspot.com

Who could resist playing the original Nintendo 64, StarCraft, that started them on RTS's? You could always run across a copy at a local flea market, or thrift store, and it's worth the buy.

Next time you're at Wal-Mart, or any other major retailer, keep StarCraft II in mind. It's player depths, it's astounding multiplayer, and it's excellent campaign.
